Our Founders

God’s Faithful Servants

Bishop Walter T. Shephard

Evang. Gerldine Shephard

God had given Bishop Walter Shephard, our founder and overseer, a plan of service for the kingdom of God. Bishop Shephard and his loving wife Evangelist Geraldine Shephard were given a vision and mission. God has equipped this ministry with all the instructional servants needed. God has a plan!

In July 1996, Bishop & Evangelist Shephard along with a dozen of faithful God-fearing servants were obedient to God’s plan and Acts of Faith Community Crusade Church was birthed at Bishop & Evangelist’s home at 3051 Oak Spring Street, Columbus, Ohio.

Acts of Faith held weekly services at this location up until September 1996 when they moved to their current location at 1209 Cleveland Avenue.

Pastor Mildred A. Tate served as Senior Pastor until July 2021 at which time Pastor Twila J. Lucas became Senior Pastor of Acts of Faith Community Crusade Church.
